This story contains a video Next month, the Town of Babylon will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the trolley lines in Babylon. In recognition of that event, the Town’s Historic and Preservation Commission invited elementary school students to write an essay on Babylon’s trolley days. Sixteen schools were recognized with winners in the contest at an awards ceremony held at Town Hall Sat., May 15.
